Jeffery Pollock, NCTMB
 
 
Jeffery Pollock graduated with honors from Utah College of Massage Therapy now with six years in practice.  Specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Cranial-Sacral, Reflexology, Acupressure, Hot Stone Therapy, Shiatsu and incorporate Energy Medicine as requested. 
 
Jeffery has been a NCTMB, Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworker since November, 2007.

Additional training included learning from holistic health pioneer, Donna Eden where Jeffery was invited and became a teaching assistant for some of her national workshops.

In My Own Words

I've been massaging since 1999, as an Energetic Bodyworker, thru, Donna Eden's, "Energy Medicine" workshops and  
www.Innersourse.org   as a T.A. in Oregon, San Diego, Montana and Phoenix. Following a personal recommendation from Sr. T.A.'s of Donna's, I returned to www.UCMT.com  , in Salt Lake City, while working for the 2002 Winter Olympics, in 2001, for a year's worth of Massage Therapy School, completing 815 hours of classroom/hands-on clinical studies, with 200+ hours of additional chair/table massages performed through the school's, "Community Outreach Program," at various community/sporting events.
 
Following graduation, in Dec. 2001, I've conducted/lead Coorporate Health fairs, hundreds of coorporate chair massages throughout the Salt Lake Basin & following relocation, in the Denver, Boulder, and Western Slope communities of Colorado, along with L.A., Orange and San Diego Counties.  Events include:  The Teva Mountain Games, 24-Hrs. of Aspen, Winter X-Games, SLC Winter Olympics 2002 support crew/select athletes, San Diego Red Bull Air Races 2007, New Orleans Mardi Gras Krewe of Baachus/Iris 2003-06, San Diego Mardi Gras Krewe'd of Raucous 2006-08, 2008 National Conference of Cancer Research Foundation, 2008 "Massage Envy's"/San Diego's, "Rock-N-Roll," Marathon, 2007 San Diego's American's Finest City Half Marathon, 2007-08 "Ride-N-Stride,"  2008 Coronado's, "Independence Day 5/15K Run," 2008 Escondido/Coronado's, "Relay for Life," 2007 volunteer therapist for San Diego Wildfire Evacuees @ Qualcomm Stadium, 2007 volunteer therapist for San Diego Wildfire Fire Fighters @ Gilespee Field, 2006 volunteer/massage therapist for Hurricane Katrina's survivors in Houston, Tx. @ the "Reliant Center/Astrodome," 2007 Coronado's "Surf Dog" competition, just to name a few.....
 
I've worked in numerous world-class spas/resorts, clinics and botique spas including: the Manor Vail Hotel and Resort, the Vail-Cascade Hotel and Aria Spa, the Ritz Carlton's Bachelor Gulch, Half-Moon Bay and San Juan, P.R. Hotel & Casino, the Hotel Del Coronado & Del Spa, Aspen Club & Spa, Aspen Glen Estates, Yampah Spa & Vapor Caves, Massage Envy, East Village, Potter Chiropractic and Gold Chiropractic Offices. 
 
My private practice, "NRG For Living Massage," is 9yrs. young and growing strong.  It's always been MY MISSION: " to EDUCATE, MOTIVATE and SERVE my community, one person at a time, THRU MASSAGE, about the HEALING POWER OF TOUCH." 
At times, having several clients on the side of regular spa work, to being my sole source of income, expanding up to 50 clients in my data base. 
My current clientel is made up of nearly 75-80% women, and Navy SEAL/BUDS/SWCC trainees and team members. 
 
I hope to shortly own/open/operate my own spa and wellness retreat caitering to "public servants," (military, law enforcement, fire department, educators, city employees and the clergy). 
I also plan in the near future to expand into the blossoming field of pet health care (equine & companion animal massage).
 
After many years in practice, and returning to San Diego & Coronado from Vail & Aspen, Co. over the past 3 yrs., I took my private practice business to the next level, by expanding across the Coronado Bridge into San Diego, following the passing of the National Certification Exam for Massage and Therapeutic Bodywork (NCTMB), as well as applying for licensure in the City of San Diego.

The training at Utah College of Massage Therapy included 815 hours of classroom and clinical instruction.  At the end of the year-long program, Jeffery had experienced actual supervised massage of over one hundred people, then went on for student outreach to the local community and this experience included massage of several hundred additional people at various athletic events.
 
Since your training, clients have included celebrities such as the Belly Dance Superstars, actress Frances McDormand and the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic athletes.  Other massage events included the 24 Hours of Aspen and the Winter X-Games.
 
Jeffery was also accepted to do massage at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games and at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy.
